Apple & Google Wallet Passes

Enhance guest convenience and speed up check-ins with secure, scannable digital wallet passes

Apple and Google Wallet passes provide an effortless and convenient way for your customers to check into your experiences. These digital passes contain a QR Code that can be easily scanned using Xola’s Redemption App or the Xola Mobile App, streamlining the entire guest check-in process. By leveraging these wallet passes, you reduce wait times, enhance the guest experience, and ensure a smooth, contactless entry to your events.

User Access: Administrator roles have access to request Apple & Google Wallet Passes in Xola.

How to Enable Ticket Redemption and QR scanning in Xola

  • Navigate to the Xola App Store by clicking the App Store tab on the left-hand side menu.
  • Locate Ticket Redemption, and select the App Store tile.
  • Click the Install button.
  • Locate QR Code Scanning, and select the App Store tile.
  • Click the Install button.
  • Navigate to Products > Global Settings > Check In and enable Check-In.
  • Now, go to Products > Experiences, hover over the experience, click Edit
  • On the left-hand side, go to Tickets
  • Choose how you want the QR code to appear to the guest:
    • One ticket per group/party: This will give one QR code per group. i.e., if you have a group of 5, they will only have to present the 1 QR code, and the whole group of 5 will be checked in at once.
    • One ticket per guest: This will give one QR code per guest. i.e. if you have a group of 5, they will have to present 5 QR codes and 1 QR code will check in 1 guest.

Note: To use the feature, you must have both the Ticket Redemption and QR Scanning installed in your Xola account along with Check-In enabled.

How to Set Up Apple and Google Wallet Passes

  • To turn on Apple and Google Wallet Passes, navigate to the Xola App Store by clicking the App Store tab on the left-hand side menu.
  • Locate Apple and Google Wallet Passes, and select the App Store tile.
  • Click the Request button.
  • This will send a notification to the Xola team to reach out. 
  • Passes can be customized to match your company branding and our team will send you those instructions. 

Note: The process requires development time from Xola and resources from you. 

After completing the above steps, guests will receive a personalized Apple or Google Pass via email following their reservation. This pass enables them to conveniently access their reservation details directly from their Apple or Google Wallet.
