Virgin Experience Days (VED) is a premier platform for giftable experiences, catering to a broad audience of UK-based and international customers searching for unique and memorable activities.

By integrating VED with Xola, you can seamlessly manage your availability, automate voucher redemptions, and centralize VED bookings—all from your Xola dashboard. This connection simplifies your operations, reduces manual work, and helps you tap into a high-intent market of gift shoppers looking to create lasting memories.

User Access: Administrator or Curator roles have access to set up VED in Xola.

Administrator, Reservationist Lite or Reservationist roles can view and modify VED reservations in Xola. 

Equipment Manager, Guide Manager or Guide roles can only view VED reservations on the Roster.

How to Get Started

  • Become a Virgin Experience Days Partner
  • Install the Integration in Xola
    • Go to the App Store in Xola.
    • Locate the Virgin Experience Days app and click Install.
  • Configure Your Experiences
    • Click Visit Settings Page or go to Settings > Apps > Virgin Experience Days > Configure.
    • Select the experiences you want Virgin Experience Days to access. This gives Virgin Experience Days permission to view the selected experiences' availability.
Once enabled, Virgin Experience Days will contact Xola's integrations team to finalize the mapping between your products and their system.

How it Works

Once connected, here’s what you can expect:

  • Real-Time Availability Sync
    Xola updates your calendar across both platforms automatically, so you never worry about double bookings.
  • VED Redemptions Appear in Xola
    When a VED customer redeems a gift, their reservation is created in Xola, just like any other reservation.
  • Gift Code Support
    VED issues redemption codes to customers, which are validated through Xola during the reservation process.
  • Standard Communications
    Customers receive the standard confirmation emails and reminders set in your Xola settings, providing a seamless experience.
  • Simplified Reporting
    VED reservations are included in your Xola reports, helping you track performance and revenue by sales channel.

  • Use Clear and Compelling Experience Descriptions
    Make sure your Xola experience descriptions, images, and pricing match what’s shown on the VED site to avoid confusion.
  • Keep Your Availability Up to Date
    Ensure your Xola calendar is always accurate - VED pulls directly from it to offer customers available dates.
  • Create a Smooth Redemption Experience
    Work with VED to clearly communicate the steps for customers to redeem their vouchers and book their reservations.
