How it Works
Once the integration between Xola and TourConnect is set up, here’s what happens behind the scenes:
-
Your B2B partners send booking requests through TourConnect - no emails, no phone calls, just direct system-to-system communication.
-
TourConnect processes and formats the request, then sends it straight to your Xola account using the API.
-
The booking appears in your Xola dashboard, just like any other direct booking, including guest information, tour details, and payment status (if applicable).
-
You’ll be notified in Xola as soon as a new partner booking comes in.
-
If a partner modifies or cancels a booking, those changes are automatically synced with Xola too.
Tips for Success
Make the most of your TourConnect and Xola integration with these best practices:
-
Make sure your tour names, times, and availability are accurate in both Xola and TourConnect. This helps avoid booking conflicts or confusion.
-
Not all partners are familiar with automated booking tools. Walk them through how to send bookings via TourConnect, or share a help article from TourConnect’s support center.
-
If you update a product in Xola, make sure the mapping stays in sync in TourConnect.
- Before going live with everyone, test the integration with one or two trusted partners to iron out any kinks.
