Seamlessly Expand Your Reach and Simplify Booking Management with SPUR Experiences Integration

Partnering with SPUR Experiences expands your tours and activities’ visibility to a vast marketplace of gift buyers and experience seekers. By integrating SPUR with Xola, all your SPUR bookings flow seamlessly and automatically into your Xola dashboard, saving you valuable time and significantly reducing the risk of overbookings. This streamlined connection helps you efficiently manage reservations while reaching a wider audience eager to discover and purchase unique experiences.

User Access: Administrator or Curator roles have access to set up SPUR in Xola.

Administrator, Reservationist Lite or Reservationist roles can view and modify SPUR reservations in Xola. 

Equipment Manager, Guide Manager or Guide roles can only view SPUR reservations on the Roster.

How to Get Started

Follow these steps to connect your Xola account with SPUR Experiences:

  • Become a SPUR Experiences partner
    • If you’re not already working with SPUR, head to www.spurexperiences.com and apply to become a supplier. Once approved, their team will guide you through onboarding.
  • Connect Spur Experiences in Xola
    • In Xola, go to Settings > Apps.
    • Find Spur Experiences, and click Install.
    • Click Connect.
    • To configure which products you would like Spur Experiences to connect to, navigate to Settings > Apps > Spur Experiences, and click Configure. Here you can choose which products you want to connect. 

Once you have connected, contact your SPUR onboarding contact or account manager. They’ll configure the connection to begin pushing reservations directly into your Xola account.


How it Works

Once your integration is live, SPUR Experiences and Xola sync reservation data automatically:

  • When a customer purchases an experience on SPUR, their voucher is created and tied to a specific product in your Xola account.

  • The guest is directed to your checkout page to redeem their voucher and schedule their activity.

  • Xola handles availability checks, confirmation emails, and guest information capture - just like any other reservation. 

  • The redeemed reservations appear in your Xola dashboard, where you can manage them alongside your other reservations.

This setup reduces manual work and gives you more control over capacity and guest communication.


Tips for Success

Here’s how to get the most from your SPUR and Xola integration:

  • Ensure your product names, descriptions, and images are current in Xola. SPUR uses this info to promote your experiences accurately.

  • Work with SPUR to match each of your SPUR offerings to the correct Xola product. This ensures reservations and redemptions are routed properly.
