XolaBot's Resume Booking feature is designed to increase your website’s conversion rates and boost purchase revenue by recovering potential lost sales. This feature works by re-engaging customers who have started the checkout process but exited without completing their purchase.
When a customer abandons a checkout, XolaBot automatically triggers a recovery prompt—a friendly and timely message—encouraging them to resume their booking and complete the transaction. By capturing the attention of these visitors at the right moment, you can turn abandoned checkouts into successful reservations, significantly improving your conversion funnel and overall revenue.
User Access: Admin, Marketer or Curator roles have access to set up XolaBot Resume Booking feature in Xola.
Accountant roles have access to XolaBot Earnings report.

Getting started with XolaBot Resume Booking
- Navigate to the Xola App Store.
- Locate XolaBot Resume Booking, and select the App Store tile.
- Click the green Install button.
- That's it! XolaBot Resume Booking is now set up and ready to go. No configuration is needed!
How it works on your website
If your customer opens the checkout window and does not complete it, XolaBot will pop back up after three seconds and ask if they would like to complete their checkout.
- When a customer selects Resume Booking, they will be returned to where they left off at checkout.
- When a traveler selects No, the notification will go away.
- If you have the Abandoned Reservation Recovery feature enabled, Resume Booking will integrate seamlessly. That means if a purchase is recovered from the rescue email or resume booking chat, it will communicate with the other. For example, if a customer returns to the checkout by selecting the Resume Booking button and purchases, they will not receive an Abandoned Reservation email.
Some website platforms (CMS) limit external JavaScript, which may mean you cannot use XolaBot. i.e. GoDaddy's free website builder.
