Looking to streamline your partner bookings? By connecting Xola with TourConnect’s Booking Automation Tool, you can automatically receive and manage bookings from B2B partners—without the manual entry. Here's how to set up the integration in just a few steps!
What is TourConnect?
TourConnect is a platform that helps tourism businesses manage B2B relationships. Their Booking Automation Tool lets your partners send bookings directly to Xola from their own systems—saving time, reducing errors, and giving you one less inbox to manage.
Set up your TourConnect account
If you haven’t already, sign up for TourConnect at www.tourconnect.com. Once your account is set up, you’ll need to:
- Add your company profile.
- Enable the Booking Automation Tool.
- Make sure your products (tours/activities) are listed and up to date.
Tip: If you need help setting up your products in TourConnect, their support team can guide you step by step.
Connect TourConnect in Xola
To connect with TourConnect, you’ll need your API credentials:
- In Xola, go to Settings > Apps.
- Find TourConnect and click Install.
Connect Xola inside TourConnect
- In your TourConnect dashboard, go to Settings > Booking Automation > Booking Systems.
- Choose Xola from the list of supported booking systems.
- Paste in your:
- Xola API Key
- Xola Account ID
- Endpoint URL
- Click Connect.
TourConnect will verify the connection and sync with your Xola account.
Note: If you need help finding the API Key or Account ID, contact Xola Support.
Map your products
After you connect:
- TourConnect will display the products you've listed in Xola.
- You’ll need to match these with the corresponding products in TourConnect.
- This ensures that when a partner sends a booking request for a specific tour, it’s correctly routed to the right listing in Xola.
Accept bookings from partners
Once connected, TourConnect will begin routing booking requests from your partners directly into Xola—no more manual emails or spreadsheets.
You’ll be able to:
-
View partner bookings in your Xola dashboard
-
Maintain a full booking record
-
Reduce manual data entry errors
How It Works
Once the integration between Xola and TourConnect is set up, here’s what happens behind the scenes:
-
Your B2B partners send booking requests through TourConnect — no emails, no phone calls, just direct system-to-system communication.
-
TourConnect processes and formats the request, then sends it straight to your Xola account using the API.
-
The booking appears in your Xola dashboard, just like any other direct booking, including guest information, tour details, and payment status (if applicable).
-
You’ll be notified in Xola as soon as a new partner booking comes in.
-
If a partner modifies or cancels a booking, those changes are automatically synced with Xola too.
Tips for Success
Make the most of your TourConnect and Xola integration with these best practices:
-
Make sure your tour names, times, and availability are accurate in both Xola and TourConnect. This helps avoid booking conflicts or confusion.
-
Not all partners are familiar with automated booking tools. Walk them through how to send bookings via TourConnect, or share a help article from TourConnect’s support center.
-
If you update a product in Xola, make sure the mapping stays in sync in TourConnect.
- Before going live with everyone, test the integration with one or two trusted partners to iron out any kinks.
