Sell on Groupon While Managing Everything in Xola

Xola and Groupon have a direct integration that allows customers to book your tours and activities directly from Groupon’s website. When a customer makes a purchase on Groupon, their reservation details, including guest information, date, time, and party size, are automatically pushed into your Xola account. This ensures that your calendar is always up to date and your availability remains accurate across platforms.

By connecting Groupon with Xola, you gain access to a major distribution channel that can help you increase bookings and revenue, while still keeping your operations streamlined within Xola. With this integration, you can expand your reach to Groupon’s wide audience of deal-seeking customers, all without worrying about managing two separate systems.

User Access: Administrator or Curator roles have access to set up Groupon in Xola.

Administrator, Reservationist Lite or Reservationist roles can view and modify Groupon reservations in Xola. 

Equipment Manager, Guide Manager or Guide roles can only view Groupon reservations on the Roster.

How to Get Started

Before connecting Groupon with Xola, you’ll need a Groupon account. If you don’t already have one, you can sign up here: https://join.localexpertpartnercentral.com/

Once your Groupon account is active:

  • In Xola, go to the App Store.

  • Locate the Groupon app and click Request.

  • Reach out to your Groupon Sales Representative to begin the mapping process between your Groupon campaign and your Xola products. 

How it Works

  • When a customer books through Groupon, their reservation is automatically added to your Xola account.

  • Your availability updates in real time to reflect the new booking.

  • Groupon bookings appear in your Xola dashboard with all the guest details you need.

Important: All Groupon bookings are auto-accepted in Xola. You cannot modify or cancel them from within Xola—you’ll need to log in to your Groupon account to make those changes.

Tips for Success

  • Make sure your Groupon campaigns align with your Xola products in terms of availability and capacity. This prevents overbookings and keeps guest expectations clear.

  • Stay in regular contact with your Groupon Sales Representative, especially when you add or update experiences in Xola. This ensures your mapping stays accurate.

  • Use Xola as your central calendar to manage availability across all sales channels.
